Cyanotype on 300g Arches Paper

Sunset, a universal moment of suspension, of contemplation, is conceived here as a shared sensory experience, in which the horizon is an expression of infinity and a support for reflection on times to come. The images are part of a repetitive photographic protocol, carried out daily during the month preceding the birth of the artist’s daughter, transforming this moment into a temporal marker and a ritual. Through the use of cyanotype, the color of the sun is erased while the luminous structure of the landscape is preserved, thereby emphasizing contrast, depth, and temporality, evoking anticipation as well as projection toward the future.
